I am writing this email on behalf of the chaperones to our recent trip to Nepal to share our great appreciation with having Stephen as our head guide. He did a fantastic job with us with his professionalism, deep knowledge about the itinerary, and always being there to answer questions. We believe that Stephen went beyond the call of duty to make our experience memorable.
In addition to what is mentioned above, Stephen established a great connection with the kids where he was well respected and well liked.

You're so right about (etr Vietnam program leader) Vinny! It was absolutely amazing, every parent genuinely thanked you guys and everyone on this end for making it possible. They're going to remember this for a lifetime! I know several of the kids are still in touch with Vinny, Hieu, and even crossed internet paths with the mother at the home stay. They were all so welcoming, and genuinely gave their best while we were there.
If I am given the choice to choose etr or another company in the future, it would be no question. I'll definitely be recommending you guys to anyone else looking for a similar experience. As for me, this was my first time taking a group of kids on a trip like this, and I am 100% happy with the overall experience and outcomes.
I seriously cannot thank you enough for setting all of this up and giving us this opportunity. You are truly giving people opportunities of a lifetime through your work. Thank you so so much!!
Dear Fanny, It was the first time I was going to Madrid ( despite my Spanish roots ! ) and I have to say that it has been absolutely fantastic and unforgettable. I'm a great traveler and a cultural trip fan, I certainly will come back to Madrid again !
Accommodation : The hotel was perfectly located, in a quiet street, very close to the center of Madrid and near a metro station. Also there were plenty of restaurants around. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable , excellent breakfast , great service. The hotel was perfect sized for the students, not too big, not too small and it was very easy to meet everyone downstairs in the lobby.
Activities : The choice of activities was great we have been able to visit the most famous cultural places of Madrid while having also enough free time for shopping and hanging around. The evenings were top, the students were very enthusiastic about the Flamenco performance and the bowling :). Also , Ana San Martin, our local guide, took us to the best tapas places. The trips to Segovia and Avila were also great.
Food : The food was a festival of flavours and discoveries of the best Spanish dishes , tapas, cheese, tortillas , soups, desserts. There was also enough choice to satisfy some vegetarian students that were in the group.
Local guides : These people were absolutely fantastic !! Ana San martin is a very professional and most dedicated woman, she took us everywhere to the best places, while being open to suggestions or change. She knows Madrid very well and was very proud to show us her city. I can’t wait for seeing her again ! Her contact with the students was excellent , funny and responsible at the same time.
Frederico, the guide we had to visit the Prado museum, the Queen Sofia museum and the Royal Palace was great : He has a talent of a story teller to capture the attention of a young audience for at least 2 hours and open their minds to the wonders and masterpieces all around I highly recommend him for further visits.
Overall it has been a fantastic trip, extremely well organised My experience in Spain has been so awesome that I would like to reiterate it in Paris ! :) Students and teachers are still dreaming about it !!!

As Doug said, Catherine was great. Everything went smoothly because of her and she was able to adapt to all unforeseen events. The food was the best on this trip and we loved that!

We do love this trip… and year after year, are very pleased to repeat it.
We would like to thank you and etr for helping us organize this trip to Barcelona for our middle school students. The students and us learned a lot and had many good experiences. Beatriz was a very patient, caring and flexible guide and we enjoyed working with her. Parents have been writing us thanking for this wonderful experience and we thank you for helping us achieve that! We all came back safe, happy, and exhausted but glad we had the experiences we did.
I just wanted to write a quick message to you - and a big THANK YOU for all the work that was put into the Japan trip. I believe it was a major success!
Lindsay and I have lived in Japan for a total of 15 years, and I think that I can say with confidence that the students had the opportunity to see and do many things that we never saw or did! This trip was truly unique, there was a good vibe during the entire trip, and it is a week I believe the students will remember with fondness for years to come.
Kent's knowledge and expertise of Tokyo and the surrounding area was amazing, and he was able to lead the group each day with no problems (and even mostly on time, which is remarkable giving our group!)
I am looking forward to running the trip again next year. Thanks again, and until next time.
(etr program leader) Sirah was amazing! She continues to make the trip easy for us by smoothing the way the entire time. I truly appreciate the fact that she engages with the chaperons and students so wonderfully. She is also amazing with everyone we meet along the way to ensure that our group is treated well. She is a gem and I would not want to do this trip without her.
We were really happy with the activities in the itinerary and the pace of the trip. I think everyone was also happy with the accommodations and the breakfast they provided. The restaurants we dined in were great and I think everyone was happy with the food choices, even those with Halal diet.
I was happy with the etr program leader, Hugo, and the local guides. Rosanna was especially good and had a way of explaining things that interested the kids. All in all, it was a very successful trip and I thank you for all the hard work it took to organize everything.

Very worthwhile and meaningful service project which made a real difference; I’m happy we were doing something so well thought out…Good standard of hotel - having the pools was great.
